For those of you who are considering Pine Rest Cabins as a place to stay and looking to use the trail, the trail is not just across the Highway - Quail's Crossing Cabins & Motel is just across the Highway & access to the trailon the other side is for Quail's Crossing paid for guest only which is clearly mark as such. For at least 1 mile either direction on Highway 385 is also marked private property by other owners.

So Beware of thier misleading advertising.  Pine Rest's guest-s caught treaspassing will be prosecuted.
